Kindergarten program

Our goal is to work together with families in encouraging the healthy spiritual, social, and intellectual growth of the children in our care, preparing them for the next steps along their path. Our program features nurturing teachers and a stimulating curriculum with enriching activities to meet the needs of each child. PCA’s team is dedicated to the development of the WHOLE child, even our youngest PCA students.

It has been proven that children learn best while involved in active play, so our teachers are intentional about providing each child with opportunities to discover the world around them at their own pace and within their preferred learning style. Our kindergarten school students will be involved in age-appropriate learning activities to lay a basis for understanding their faith, family, others, and the world around them. These students will learn through hands-on learning activities, engaging group interactions, and a Bible story time that promotes the moral and spiritual development of the children at PCA.

Our 4K and 5K students will be exposed to an emphasis on Phonics and Reading, as we hope to develop a love for learning and reading starting at this age. We begin to plant the seeds of intentional life-long learning during this crucial time period in their lives and our prayer is that it carries over with them as they continue to travel down their educational journey.
